The AK Party Beykoz District Chairman Özkan Ayduğan announced that Nevzat Cebeci, an independent council member of Beykoz Municipality who resigned from the CHP, has joined their party. Recently, Özlem Vural Gürzel, the Deputy Mayor of Beykoz, also resigned from the CHP.
The resignation of Nevzat Cebeci, an Independent Member of the Beykoz Municipality from the Republican People's Party (CHP), to join the AK Party has been announced.
Özlem Vural Gürzel, who was elected as the Deputy Mayor of Beykoz Municipality to replace Alaattin Köseler, who was arrested in a corruption investigation, recently announced her resignation from the CHP; President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated at the meeting of his party's Central Decision and Executive Board that Özlem Vural Gürzel, the Deputy Mayor of Beykoz who resigned from the CHP, would join the AK Party.
ANOTHER SHOCK FROM BEYKOZ TO CHP
While Gürzel's decision created a shock effect in the CHP, another bad news came from Beykoz to the CHP. AK Party Beykoz District Chairman Özkan Ayduğan reported that Nevzat Cebeci, an Independent Member of the Beykoz Municipality who resigned from the CHP, has joined their party.
OFFICIALLY JOINED THE AK PARTY
Ayduğan, in a statement made on social media, said, "We are happy about the joining of Nevzat Cebeci, an Independent Member of the Beykoz Municipality, to our AK Party. We welcome Nevzat Cebeci, who will add strength to our cause, and we believe that together we will achieve many beautiful services for our Beykoz and our nation."

Nevzat Cebeci announced his resignation from the CHP on his social media account on Wednesday, September 10.
