Unions, environmental organizations, human rights advocates, and technology workers are preparing for global protests against Amazon during the Black Friday–Cyber Monday period as part of the "Make Amazon Pay" campaign, which will be held for the sixth time this year.

As Black Friday approaches, global trade giants are on high alert, and the outlook for Amazon is far from bright. Employees in over 30 countries are preparing for the largest strike in the company's history, saying "enough is enough." The harsh working conditions in warehouses and oppressive management practices have pushed workers to a global wave of protests.

The campaign accuses Amazon of deepening inequality, suppressing workers' rights, wielding political influence, and causing environmental destruction.

In particular, warehouse and field workers state that they are on the brink due to increasing pressure for productivity, demanding work pace, and the blocking of rest breaks. One worker says, "Even if we faint, we can't take a break; if we do, we get fired."

ALL GLOBAL OPERATIONS UNDER THREAT

This year's protests will spread to nearly all of Amazon's global operations:

Germany: Warehouse workers are going on strike under the leadership of the ver.di union.

USA: Activists will protest Amazon's surveillance technology agreements with ICE.

Europe: Actions are planned in Denmark, Spain, Greece, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Luxembourg.

Asia-Pacific and the Middle East: Protests will take place in Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Nepal, and Palestine.

Latin America and Africa: Demonstrations will hit the ground in Brazil, Colombia, and South Africa.
