A gunfight broke out between two rival groups in a barbershop in Adana. One of the seven people injured by the gunfire died in the hospital. The condition of two of the six injured individuals remains critical.
In the Barış neighborhood of the Seyhan district in Adana, terrifying moments unfolded in a barber shop. Allegedly, two rival groups came together in the barber shop and started to argue. As the argument escalated, the parties opened fire on each other with guns.
7 INJURED
In the ongoing conflict outside the shop, Eren Bildik (24), Ayhan Bozateş (37), Abdullah Demirtaş (40), Fatih Eynallı (50), Arif Doğan (44), Zülfü Dağoğlu, and Orhan Bozateş were injured. Upon hearing the gunshots, nearby residents alerted the police and medical teams to the scene.
The injured were taken to various hospitals in the city by ambulances. It was learned that Eren Bildik, Abdullah Demirtaş, and Arif Doğan were in critical condition, while the other injured individuals were not in life-threatening condition.
1 PERSON HAS DIED
Of the 7 injured in the conflict, Ayhan Bozateş could not be saved despite all medical interventions at the hospital. It was reported that 2 of the 6 injured receiving treatment were still in critical condition.
The police continue their investigation into the incident.
