In an armed attack at a bar in Mexico, 4 people died at the scene, and 3 others passed away in the hospital where they were taken. None of the attackers were apprehended, while the Hidalgo State Security Office announced that disputes had been identified between rival gangs in Tula prior to the attack.
In the city of Tula, approximately 97 kilometers north of Mexico City, armed attackers carried out a massacre at a bar. According to police reports, armed individuals stormed the La Resaka bar located in the city's working-class neighborhood. Four people died at the scene, while three others died in the hospital to which they were taken.
NONE OF THE ATTACKERS HAVE BEEN CAPTURED
Federal and state security forces have launched an operation, but so far no suspects have been apprehended. It is known that gangs involved in stolen fuel smuggling operate in the state of Hidalgo, where Tula is located.
FEUDS ESCALATED AFTER GANG LEADER'S ARREST
The Hidalgo State Security Office announced that disputes had been detected between rival gangs in Tula prior to the attack. Local media reported that feuds between cartels intensified following the arrest of a gang leader in the area.

In Mexico, approximately 480 thousand people have died in violence related to drug trafficking since the operations against cartels began in 2006. More than 120 thousand people are still missing.
