In Sarıyer, Istanbul, inspections were carried out by the Ministry of Trade teams on a hamburger restaurant that has been trending on social media and is alleged to accept customers by reference. During the inspection, it was determined that although 32 different products were sold, there was no price list available for customers to see.

In the examination of the establishment, which has bizarre rules such as having to consume a 6-layer hamburger first to be able to order an 8-layer hamburger, exorbitant prices were detected. It was found that a half-liter of water was sold for 258 TL, and a "exorbitant price" report was prepared for a total of 4 products. It was learned that the purchase invoices of the establishment for the last 3 months would also be examined.

AVOIDANCE OF SALE AND CONDITIONAL SALE DETECTION

During the inspection, it was determined that the sale of products was conditional despite the customer's request. Following this situation, action was taken against the establishment under the scope of "avoidance of sale." In the images shared on social media, it was claimed that a maximum of 10 people were served per day, that prerequisites were sought to order certain products, and that certain products had to be consumed beforehand for higher-layer hamburgers.

It was determined that although the establishment is actively operating as a hamburger place, its license is registered for "cake and baked goods." An investigation has been initiated by the Sarıyer Municipality teams for the cancellation of the license.

I try to provide excellent service to everyone who comes. This is my concept. Sometimes people make things up in their heads, one reads what someone has made up, writes something else on top of that. Then they become news, and I can't prevent that.
