The rain, which started lightly around 03:30, quickly increased in intensity. The rainfall, which was effective throughout the district, especially caused flooding in the neighborhoods of Sarıcasu, Salur, Kavak, and Hacıveliler. It was determined that a tornado formed in neighborhoods such as Mavikent, Kum, and Karşıyaka, causing damage to many greenhouses. A bridge in the Şıh area of Hacıveliler collapsed. Damage assessment work has been initiated throughout the district.

In a statement from the Kemer District Governor's Office, it was stated, "Due to excessive rainfall and unfavorable weather conditions in our district, education has been suspended for 1 day today, February 6, 2026."
