The incident took place yesterday around 4:00 PM in the Eski Habipler neighborhood. After the 6.2 magnitude earthquake in Istanbul, citizens evacuated the buildings and flooded into the streets for their safety. During this time, two women entered an empty building and began checking the apartments on the ground floor.
"WE CAME TO AYNUR AUNTIE"
A resident returning home to collect their belongings noticed the two suspects. When asked what they were doing, the suspects replied, "We came to Aynur auntie." However, the resident stated that no one by that name lived in the apartment and said they would inform the owner of the apartment who was outside. Upon this, the two women quickly left the building.
