A landlord's advertisement for renting out an apartment in Denizli has drawn attention for its pages of rules. Among the landlord's stipulations are having a maximum of one child, at least one family member being a civil servant, not leaving dirty dishes in the kitchen, and a requirement for inspections every 50 days.
In the rental advertisement for a 3+1 apartment located in the Pamukkale district of Denizli, the conditions requested by the landlord from potential tenants drew attention. Among the rules specified page by page by the landlord in the advertisement, the requirement that at least one family member must be a civil servant and the condition of coming for an inspection every 50 days stood out.
EVEN A CHILD CONDITION WAS GIVEN
The advertisement stated that families with a maximum of one child would be preferred. It was emphasized that smoking in the house is strictly prohibited, and all family members must be non-smokers. Guests coming to the house were noted to be allowed to smoke only on the balcony.
"DIRTY DISHES MUST NOT BE LEFT IN THE KITCHEN"
The landlord's conditions did not stop there. It was required that no dirty dishes be left on the kitchen counter and that the counter must not be left wet. It was stated that a warning would be sent in case of a two-day delay in rent payment.
WANTED TO CONDUCT AN INSPECTION EVERY 50 DAYS
Another striking item in the advertisement indicated that the landlord would conduct a 15-minute visit to check the apartment every 50 days at a time convenient for the tenant, which drew reactions. It was stated that these visits would be carried out within the scope of the contract.
THE ADVERTISEMENT SPARKED DEBATE
The advertisement, containing pages of conditions, quickly became a topic on social media, with many users evaluating it as an invasion of privacy. Some users argued that the increasing problems between tenants and landlords have led to the rise of such advertisements. After it became a topic on social media, it was seen that the landlord removed the advertisement.
