At the 'New Generation Journalism Workshop' that brought journalists together in Kayseri, the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, which stands out with its identity as an industrial city, was also visited. Speaking to News.com reporter Dilşad Özcan, President Mehmet Yalçın emphasized Kayseri's contribution to development, from production to export, from employment to the tradition of philanthropy.
"KAYSERİ IS THE CITY OF BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE"
Expressing his pleasure in hosting the press members, Yalçın said, "You have made us very happy, welcome, and enjoy your stay. Kayseri is the city of beautiful people. It honored us to promote Kayseri." Yalçın emphasized that industrialists place great importance on both production and social responsibility, stating, "Many institutions that the state will establish are being built by our philanthropic industrialists here."
"WE HAVE OVER 100 THOUSAND EMPLOYMENTS"
Stating that Kayseri has been a trade center throughout history, Yalçın noted, "When we look at the 5000-year history, trade has become a habit here. The people of Kayseri love to produce, export, and work." Highlighting the intense activities in the industrial zone, Yalçın remarked, "We have over 100 thousand employments here. This number is larger than the central population of 37 cities."
"INDUSTRIALISTS INVEST THEIR EARNINGS BACK INTO THEIR CITY"
Yalçın pointed out that the strength of Kayseri's industry is not only economically but also socially effective. "Our industrialists here establish factories, create employment, export, and invest the money they earn back into their city. Kayseri is the city where we earn money and feel fulfilled," he stated.
