It has been revealed that Menderes Utku, the operator of the sports club called Club House, who was arrested during a drug operation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities, was a famous child actor of Yeşilçam.

Along with the arrest warrant, a striking detail about Menderes Utku has come back to the agenda. It has been revealed that Utku was one of the unforgettable child stars of Yeşilçam in the 1970s. Utku became widely known at a young age by starring in the beloved series "Afacan."
HE HAD ATTRACTED ATTENTION WITH GOLDEN ORANGE AWARDS
Menderes Utku, the grandson of producer, director, and screenwriter Ümit Utku, also won significant awards in his cinema career. Utku was awarded the best child actor award at the 8th Golden Orange Film Festival in 1972 for the film "Afacan Küçük Serseri," and in 1973 for the film "Afacan Harika Çocuk" at the 10th Golden Orange Film Festival.
OPERATION AT CLUB HOUSE
A raid was conducted by narcotics police at the venue called "Club House," located in the Bebek neighborhood of Beşiktaş district, known as a hotspot for celebrities. It was reported that 100 police officers and 5 K-9 narcotics search dogs participated in the operation.
Police teams conducted General Information Checks (GBT) on those inside. Entry and exit to the venue were also prohibited for a while. The social club where the operation was carried out has a gym and a restaurant.
CLAIM OF "OWNED BY THE SAME PARTNERS AS BEBEK HOTEL"
On the other hand, it was claimed that the venue in question belonged to the same partners as the famous Bebek Hotel, which was previously raided and sealed by court order as part of the same investigation.
BEBEK HOTEL INVESTIGATION
Searches were also conducted at nightclubs and Bebek Hotel as part of the drug investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
It was among the allegations that famous individuals registered at Bebek Hotel under different names, went to the VIP sections on the upper floors in groups, used drugs, and that the belongings of customers entering the hotel were not searched, and there were no X-ray devices.
19 suspects, including the owner of Bebek Hotel, Muzaffer Yıldırım, were arrested in a previous operation, while in this operation, in addition to Can Yaman, 6 more people were detained.
Yaman was released after his procedures at the police station, while it was decided to arrest other suspects Ayşe Tarım, Ayşe Sağlam, and Ceren Alper, and to apply judicial control measures to Burak Fahri Yön, Nilüfer Batur Tokgöz, and Selen Görgüzel.
