The air conditioner repairman Şakir Şunka, who had been missing since January 10 in the Seydikemer district of Muğla, was found alive in a house in a forested area after 14 days, thanks to the intensive efforts of the teams. The joy of his relatives, who found Şunka safe and sound after two weeks, was truly remarkable.

LEFT HOME ON JANUARY 10, NO NEWS RECEIVED SINCE
Shakir Şunka, who lived in the Çaykenarı neighborhood of Seydikemer and worked as an air conditioning technician, left his home on January 10 in his light commercial vehicle with the license plate 48 F 6834 and was not heard from again. After his relatives were unable to find any results from their own search efforts, a missing person report was filed with the gendarmerie.
A large-scale search operation was initiated by the gendarmerie teams for Şunka, who was reported to have psychological issues. Şunka's light commercial vehicle was found abandoned on January 21 near the Orulca Hill in the Bayır neighborhood.
A TEAM OF 150 WAS MOBILIZED
The search efforts, conducted with a team of approximately 150 people, included gendarmerie security teams, Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) teams, and members of the Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers Emergency Response Association (MAG-AME).
On the 14th day of the drone-supported ongoing efforts, Şunka was found alive in a house located in the forest near the Gökbel neighborhood. His relatives tightly embraced Şunka, whom they saw alive after two weeks.
It was learned that Shakir Şunka's health condition is good.
