The post made by Mizgin Ertekin, who suspiciously fell from the 4th floor of a girls' dormitory in the Polatlı district of Ankara and lost her life at the age of 20, drew attention just one day before her death. Ertekin, who was allegedly experiencing psychological issues, included the following statements in her post: "I am not a woman worth fighting for. No flowers should be brought to me; a flower can be placed on my grave, but it will not smell for me."
On November 22, an incident occurred at the girls' student dormitory on Necmettin Erbakan Boulevard in Polatlı, Ankara, where Mizgin Ertekin (20), a student of the Beauty Department at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, fell from the 4th floor of the dormitory under suspicious circumstances and was seriously injured. Despite all the interventions by doctors at the hospital, Ertekin passed away.
The funeral of Mizgin Ertekin, who was born in Yüksekova, Hakkari, was buried in Istanbul after the autopsy procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institution.
CLAIM THAT SHE JUMPED AFTER HER FRIEND WENT TO THE BATHROOM
It was claimed that Ertekin had been experiencing psychological issues recently, that she was talking to her friend at the time of the incident, and that after her friend went to the bathroom, she headed towards the window and jumped.
