Russia has seized the oil tanker Green Admire, which is registered under the Liberian flag and owned by Greece, in the Baltic Sea. The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the incident has been reported to NATO allies.

The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Russia seized the Liberian-flagged oil tanker named Green Admire, which is owned by Greece, after it departed from Sillamae Port, stating that NATO allies have been informed about the incident.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said, "Today's event shows that Russia continues to behave unpredictably. I have also informed our allies about the incident."
It was noted that the ship was on its way to Rotterdam in the Netherlands with an oil cargo belonging to Estonia. According to an agreement made between Estonia, Finland, and Russia, the ship, which follows a route designated to avoid shallows in Estonian waters and passes through Russian territorial waters, was reported to have anchored near Russia's Hogland Island.
Following the incident, it was stated that ships entering and leaving Sillamae Port will now be guided through Estonian territorial waters.
