Tanrıöğen was hospitalized on January 26 due to complaints of confusion, and after examinations, it was determined that he had suffered a brain hemorrhage, leading to an emergency surgery. The experienced actor, who underwent surgery three times within approximately 1.5 months, was discharged from a private hospital in Ataşehir on March 14 after his treatment. Due to health issues, Tanrıöğen had to leave the series "Kızılcık Şerbeti," and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan was included in the project for the character "Abdullah," which Tanrıöğen portrayed. This change was met with sadness by the fans of the series.
