Galatasaray's head coach Okan Buruk made statements during a live radio broadcast in England. Speaking about Fenerbahçe's former coach Jose Mourinho, Buruk said, "Mourinho had touched me, he was a bit tense. This is Mourinho's style, he is very aggressive. He is a special person, you know, I watched him get a red card last night. This is his style. He is a very great coach. He is not at the same level as before, but he is still one of the best coaches in world football. I respect him."
Galatasaray's head coach Okan Buruk made statements after the Juventus match by connecting to Talk Sport's live radio broadcast in England.
"IT WAS A HISTORIC NIGHT"
Commenting on the Juventus match, Okan Buruk said, 'It was a historic night for Galatasaray, for my players, and for me. When I was a player, I played in Italy for Inter. We weren't enemies, but there has always been a rivalry between Juventus and Inter. Last night we defeated Juventus 5-2. We were 2-1 behind at halftime, but the score in the second half was 4-0 for us. It was a magnificent result for the first match. The Champions League is a completely different story, a whole different level. We won against Juventus, a team of this level. It was a great night for Turkish football.'
'IT WAS A DREAM FOR GALATASARAY'
Stating that the transfer of Osimhen was a dream for Galatasaray, Okan Buruk said, 'Victor Osimhen is a magnificent player. I think he is a true team player; a player who doesn't play for his own score. He scores goals, makes assists, and constantly puts pressure in the front line. He is a complete team player. He has a great character. Being able to transfer him from Napoli was a dream for Galatasaray. We paid 75 million Euros for him, which was a record fee in Turkish football. We spent all our money on him.'
"MOURINHO IS ONE OF THE BEST"
The experienced coach also spoke about former Fenerbahçe coach Mourinho, saying, 'After a Fenerbahçe match, Mourinho had touched me, he was a bit tense. This is Mourinho's style, he is very aggressive. He is a special person, you know, I saw that he received a red card last night. This is his style. He is a very great coach. He is not at the same level as before, but he is still one of the best coaches in world football. I respect him, and I respect all my colleagues as well.'
