According to the claim; Filiz Şağbangül (32), who was in the process of divorce, left the house she shared with her husband Gıyasettin Şağbangül (40). Filiz Şağbangül left the house saying, "I am going to my mother's house" and started living in a women's shelter.

When Gıyasettin Şağbangül learned that his wife was staying in a women's shelter instead of her mother's house, a dispute broke out between the couple. During the argument, Gıyasettin Şağbangül stabbed and killed his wife, who was in the process of divorce, in front of their children.
SHE LEFT THE SHELTER TO SPEND RAMADAN WITH HER CHILDREN
Filiz's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution Morgue for autopsy. After the procedures were completed, the woman's body was handed over to her brother. It was learned that Filiz Şağbangül left the women's shelter to spend the month of Ramadan with her children and returned to the house where her husband and children lived.
WILL BE BURIED IN VAN
It was learned that Filiz Şağbangül's funeral will be buried in Çatak village, connected to the Muradiye district of Van, after the noon prayer on Thursday.
22 WOMEN WERE KILLED ONLY IN JANUARY

Accordingly; only in January, 22 women were killed, and 14 women were found dead under suspicious circumstances. Of the 22 women killed, 5 were killed by their husbands, 3 by their partners, 2 by someone they knew, 2 by their fathers, 1 by their son, 1 by their brother, 1 by a man they were previously married to, 1 by a man they were previously in a relationship with, 1 by a relative, and 1 by their former son-in-law. The relationship of 4 women with their killers could not be determined.
