Teams have taken action regarding the statue displayed at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention Center, which has drawn significant backlash on social media. Both the creator and the exhibitor of the statue were apprehended and taken into custody by the teams.
After the sculpture featured at the art fair held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention Center drew reactions on social media, teams took action.
2 PEOPLE DETAINED
In the operations carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Security Branch, coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that the individuals who created and exhibited the sculpture mentioned in the content shared on social media were M.K. (45) and A.E.I. (34). The suspects were captured and detained by the teams.
It was learned that the individuals apprehended in connection with the incident would be referred to the courthouse after their procedures.
