As part of a drug investigation involving celebrities, a detention order has been issued for six individuals, including Emel Müftüoğlu and Oktay Kaynarca. The six individuals in custody are charged with five offenses: "Possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use," "Facilitating drug use," "Encouraging someone to engage in prostitution," "Mediating or providing a place for prostitution," and "Providing a venue and means for gambling."
The investigation into 'drugs' conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau targeting famous individuals is ongoing.

In this context, an operation was carried out by the Narcotic Crimes Combat Branch Directorate and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams. In the operation, Oktay Kaynarca, Emel Müftüoğlu, Neda Şahin, Ali Sert, Rabia Karataş, and Selen Çetinkaya were detained.

HOW DID THE INVESTIGATION START?
The investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office came to light with the surveillance of high-profile individuals suspected of using drugs or stimulants. In October 2025, the prosecutor's office summoned 19 celebrities to the Istanbul Gendarmerie Command for questioning and to provide blood samples as part of the first operation.
Among those summoned in the first phase were actors, singers, and social media influencers. Notable names included Demet Evgar, Özge Özpirinçci, Mert Yazıcıoğlu, Kubilay Aka, Berrak Tüzünataç, Hadise Açıkgöz, İrem Derici, Duygu Özaslan, Dilan, and Engin Polat.
OPERATIONS EXPANDED
As the investigation progressed, the operations also expanded. In an operation conducted in December 2025, names such as Aleyna Tilki, Danla Bilic, and İrem Sak were detained following searches at their addresses.
After being detained, hair and blood samples were taken from those released, and the test results of Şeyma Subaşı and Aleyna Tilki came back positive. The results of actress İrem Sak, social media influencer Neslihan Damla Aktepe known as Danla Bilic, Eser Gökhan Küçükerol, Saim Macit, and Mehmet Güçlü were negative.
