Striking details have emerged regarding the 26-story building fire in Ankara that claimed the lives of one baby and three individuals. Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş explained the cause of the fire, stating, "The fire spread to the upper floors from the electrical shaft."

In the Çankaya district of Ankara, a fire broke out in a 26-story building during the night, resulting in the deaths of 3 people and injuries to 27 others. According to the information obtained, the fire broke out around 10:00 PM in a 26-story building located in the Yaşamkent neighborhood of Çankaya district. The fire, which started on the 4th floor for an unknown reason, quickly grew. Upon notification, a large number of firefighters, police, medical, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene.

EMERGENCY INTERVENTION TENT SET UP



Citizens trapped in the building were evacuated by the fire brigade. An emergency intervention tent was set up in the area by UMKE teams. In the fire, Muharrem Çetinkaya (63), Hüsniye Çelik Şahin (33), and 3.5-month-old Aras Şahin lost their lives.

COOLING WORKS CONTINUE



A total of 27 people, including 20 citizens and 7 firefighters, were injured due to the fire. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals by ambulances. Cooling efforts at the scene are still ongoing.
