The removal of the Turkish flag and the historical symbols of the city from the logo of the Ardahan Governorship and the transition to a new logo themed with snow and leaves has sparked discussions. While some expressed their appreciation for the new logo, which is said to represent winter tourism and nature, others criticized the decision harshly, stating that the old logo was more meaningful.

The Ardahan Governorship changed its institutional logo on the official social media account named "TC Ardahan Governorship." The Turkish Flag, Ardahan Historical Castle, snowy mountains, and the historical bridge over the Kura River in the old logo were removed, and a new logo featuring symbols of snow and leaves was adopted.
