A suspect who killed his wife by stabbing her 8 times in the chest in Adana yesterday has been arrested. It was claimed that the individual said, "I wish it hadn't happened like this."
The incident occurred yesterday in the Meydan neighborhood of the Seyhan district. According to allegations, Ş.A. (52) started arguing with his wife Kadriye A. (38) after sending their 3 children to school. Ş.A. turned the argument into a fight in a short time, claiming that his wife had cheated on him.
STABBED 8 TIMES
During the fight, Ş.A. stabbed Kadriye A. 8 times in the chest area. His brother, who lived in the same detached house as Ş.A., reported the incident to the police after noticing the situation. At that moment, Ş.A. was overwhelmed with tears at the head of the woman lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
Health teams that arrived at the scene determined that Kadriye A. had lost her life. Teams from the Seyhan District Police Department detained Ş.A. and handed him over to the Homicide Bureau.

During the interrogation at the Homicide Bureau, it was claimed that Ş.A. said, "I regret it, it happened in a moment of anger. I wish it hadn't been like this." After the procedures, the suspect was sent to the courthouse and was arrested by the court.
