THE BANNER OPENED CAUGHT ATTENTION

Protesters who greeted Özel's convoy entering the city with boos carried a banner that read, "The absence of the CHP since the earthquake is heavier than the rubble." The protest, which continued during Özel's speech, ended with the intervention of security forces.

RESPONSE TO THE CRITICISM OF "YOU JUST TOOK A PHOTO AND LEFT"

On the other hand, CHP leader Özgür Özel responded to the frequent criticisms directed at them by President Erdoğan during his visit to Adıyaman, saying, "Honestly, we came for the earthquake, we stayed here. As for the photo, we entrusted this friend's photo to the people of Adıyaman as the mayor."
