The latest supporter of the action is Sweden's Minister of Education, Simona Mohamsson. Mohamsson shared a video on her Instagram account, showing her braiding her hair in support of the movement.
WHO IS SIMONA MOHAMSSON?
Simona Mohamsson is a politician as a member of Liberalerna (the Liberal Party) and has been serving as the party leader since June 2025. She is also part of the cabinet as Sweden's Minister of Education and Integration.
Born in Hamburg, Germany, Mohamsson moved to Sweden with her family when she was 8 years old and grew up there. She studied public administration at the University of Gothenburg.
Mohamsson started her political career within the Liberalerna Youth Organization (LUF), taking on various roles in the party and emerging as one of the representatives of the younger generation. In 2025, she was elected first as party secretary, then as the party's general leader and minister.
Throughout her career, Mohamsson has played an active role in education policies and integration issues, and she is considered a rising figure in Swedish politics.
