In Ümraniye, Istanbul, a driver using the emergency lane reacted with insults to another driver who was not giving way and was proceeding in the normal lane.

In the incident, the woman next to the driver in the emergency lane used threatening expressions towards the driver blocking them, saying, "Someone will shoot you in the head one day, don't act tough with everyone, there are a lot of reckless drivers in traffic."
