A woman claiming to be a teacher made a post from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, using harsh expressions about Sabiha Gökçen. The video quickly became one of the most talked-about topics on social media.
In a video that caused a great stir on social media, a woman identifying herself as a teacher made controversial statements about Sabiha Gökçen, Atatürk's adopted daughter and Turkey's first female combat pilot, during her broadcast from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
"A WAR PILOT WHO SLAUGHTERED HER OWN PEOPLE"
The woman, who referred to Sabiha Gökçen as "a war pilot who ruthlessly slaughtered her own people," criticized the naming of the airport after her. She also stated, "How can the name of such a woman be given to an airport in Istanbul? If you ask, they will say she is the first female combat pilot. That is not true. Because our first female pilot is not Sabiha Gökçen, but Bedriye Tahir Gökmen. However, Sabiha Gökçen can be referred to as the first massacre pilot," further escalating the debate.
CREATED OUTRAGE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
The footage quickly spread, and many users reacted to the woman who claimed to be a teacher. Commenting on the post, users emphasized that the heavy accusations made against historical figures are unacceptable, while some argued that the claims should be investigated.
