The lottery process continues for the social housing project of 500,000 units launched by TOKİ for low-income citizens. This week, the rightful owners of the houses will be determined by lottery in 9 more provinces. It has been reported that the number of applications for the project, which has received great interest across Turkey, has exceeded 5 million, and the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, announced the lottery schedule by province.
The lottery process for TOKİ's social housing initiative, which includes 500,000 housing units, continues without slowing down. As part of the project aimed at enabling low-income citizens to become homeowners, this week, rights holders will be determined in 9 more provinces. The Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, shared the details of the lottery schedule with the public.
While there has been intense interest in the project across Turkey, it was announced that more than 5 million applications were made for the 500,000 housing units. After the application process was completed, the lottery draws began on a provincial basis. According to the information provided by Minister Kurum, so far, the rights of 121,265 housing units have been determined through the lottery in 32 provinces.
PROVINCES WHERE LOTTERY DRAWINGS WILL BE HELD THIS WEEK
According to the schedule announced by TOKİ, the lottery drawings will be held on the following dates:
January 27, Tuesday: Kilis
January 28, Wednesday: Sinop
January 29, Thursday: Niğde
January 30, Friday: Aksaray, Ordu, Karabük
January 31, Saturday: Samsun, Nevşehir, Bartın
DATES FOR METROPOLITAN CITIES HAVE ALSO BEEN CLARIFIED
The dates have also been announced for the metropolitan cities where TOKİ lottery draws are eagerly awaited. Accordingly;
The lottery draw in Ankara will be on February 5,
In İzmir, it will be on March 6,
And in Istanbul, it will take place between March 9-12.
