The Syrian army announced the establishment of two separate humanitarian corridors in the Raqqa–Hasakeh and rural Aleppo areas for the passage of humanitarian aid and emergency cases.
According to the Syrian official news agency SANA, the Syrian Army Operations Committee announced that two humanitarian corridors have been opened in coordination with the relevant provinces.
FIRST CORRIDOR NEAR TEL DAVUD VILLAGE
Accordingly, the first corridor was established near Tel Davud village on the Raqqa–Hasakeh road in coordination with Hasakeh Governorate.
SECOND CORRIDOR ON M4 HIGHWAY
The second humanitarian corridor was opened near Nur Ali village at the Aynularab junction on the M4 highway in coordination with Aleppo Governorate.
SAFE PASSAGE FOR HUMANITARIAN CASES WILL BE PROVIDED
Authorities stated that the mentioned corridors were allocated for the delivery of humanitarian aid and the safe passage of urgent and sensitive humanitarian cases.
CONVOY OF 24 VEHICLES DEPARTED FROM ALEPPO
On the other hand, the Syrian government sent humanitarian aid materials consisting of 24 vehicles to Aynularab, which is occupied by the terrorist organization YPG. A convoy of 24 vehicles containing United Nations (UN) humanitarian aid materials departed from Aleppo under the coordination of Aleppo Governorate.
After the Syrian army's temporary ceasefire with the terrorist organization YPG was extended for 15 days, winter aid materials were sent to Aynularab on the first day of the ceasefire. Aleppo Deputy Governor Ferhat Korto stated, "We have prepared winter aid materials consisting of 24 vehicles for our brothers, citizens, and relatives in Aynularab under the coordination of Aleppo Governorate." Karto mentioned that the humanitarian aid convoy, which includes food, hygiene products, baby supplies, medical equipment, and medicines, has departed from Aleppo and will be delivered to Aynularab.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Syrian army announced that a humanitarian corridor would be opened for civilians under the occupation of the terrorist organization YPG. The Syrian Ministry of Defense had announced that the ceasefire with the terrorist organization YPG was extended for 15 days starting from January 24 at 23:00.
