TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated, "We are launching a new TOBB Nefes Credit next week to provide financing support to SMEs under favorable conditions." A company can use a maximum loan of 2.5 million lira from the TOBB Nefes Credit. The loans will have a maximum term of 36 months with 6 months of no payments.
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF), Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, Denizbank, and Ziraat Participation have signed a new TOBB Breath Credit to provide financing support to SMEs under favorable conditions.
APPLICATIONS ON JULY 8-9
According to a statement from TOBB, applications for the TOBB Breath Credit will be made on July 8-9. Companies that are members of the chambers and exchanges affiliated with the Union will be able to apply for the TOBB Breath Credit at the branches of Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, Denizbank, and Ziraat Participation.
6 MONTHS GRACE PERIOD, 2.5 MILLION TL
KGF will provide an 80% guarantee for these loans with its own resource support. A company can use a maximum of 2.5 million lira credit from the TOBB Breath Credit. The loans will have a maximum term of 36 months with a 6-month grace period.

The statement also included the views of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and KGF Board Chairman Erdoğan Özegen.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the biggest problem faced by SMEs is access to finance, saying, "The lack of real growth in SME loans reduces companies' working capital. This leads to a slowdown in cash and goods flow, causing the economy to contract. The restriction of supply in this way negatively affects inflation and makes it more difficult to combat high inflation. To alleviate these difficulties and support SMEs, which are the lifeblood of our country's economy, TOBB, KGF, and banks have joined forces. We are launching a new TOBB Breath Credit next week to provide financing support to SMEs under favorable conditions."
"WE HAVE GUARANTEED 558 THOUSAND COMPANIES"
Özegen stated that KGF has provided guarantees for loans amounting to 1.5 trillion lira so far. He reported that they have guaranteed 558 thousand companies and made the following evaluations:
"KGF is an important institution that has no equivalent in the world. It consists of a structure where TOBB, KOSGEB, and 29 stakeholder banks are partners. To support the economic development of our country, we will guarantee loans with our own resource support in the TOBB Breath Credit that we will implement. Our guarantee rate will be 80%."
