METIN OKTAY COULD NOT ESCAPE FROM THE ROLLOVER VEHICLE
Galatasaray's legendary footballer Metin Oktay lost his life in a traffic accident at the age of 51.
Metin Oktay could not be saved after the traffic accident he had in September 1991 at the exit of the Bosphorus Bridge. It was determined that Oktay, whose car rolled over, died as a result of "a broken jaw, fractures in his left arm, and internal bleeding due to a ruptured spleen."
AHMET ÇALIK'S CAR ROLLED INTO A DITCH
Ahmet Çalık passed away in a traffic accident while returning from Konya to Ankara on January 11, 2022.
The car driven by Çalık rolled into a ditch after losing control in the Gölbaşı Hacılar area on the Ankara-Niğde highway. The death of Ahmet Çalık, who played for Galatasaray and Konyaspor after being raised in the Young Boys infrastructure, at the age of 27 deeply saddened football fans.
BLACK WAS ADDED TO SAMSUNSPOR'S COLORS
The bus carrying the Samsunspor team collided with a truck in the Havza district while on its way to a league match against Malatyaspor on January 20, 1989.

Denizlispor's young footballer Doğan Seyfi Atlı lost his life in a traffic accident while traveling from Aydın to Denizli in December 2001. Atlı was seriously injured when the car he was driving crashed into barriers near Nazilli and died at the age of 21 in the hospital.
JOSEF SURAL FROM ALANYASPOR DIED IN THE ACCIDENT
Czech footballer Josef Sural could not survive the accident in which the private minibus carrying Alanyaspor players returning from Kayseri overturned in April 2019. Sural, who was among the 7 footballers in the minibus that crashed, passed away at the age of 28 in the hospital.
THE VEHICLE CONTAINING MILOSEVSKI CRASHED INTO A MINIBUS
North Macedonian goalkeeper Petar Milosevski, who played for Trabzonspor, Malatyaspor, and Akçaabat Sebatspor, fell victim to a traffic accident in his country.
In March 2014, the vehicle Milosevski was in collided with a minibus coming from the opposite direction. Milosevski lost his life at the age of 40 in the accident, while the driver of the vehicle, Ilčo Gyorgyioski, the President of the North Macedonian Football Federation, survived with injuries.
