10 PEOPLE KILLED IN VILLAGE
According to local media reports, unidentified armed individuals carried out an attack in the Otukpo-Nobi village of Plateau state. The attack resulted in 10 deaths and multiple injuries.
Regional authorities stated that security forces have been deployed to the village where the attack took place, and investigations into the incident have been initiated.
BLOODY ATTACKS CONTINUE IN NIGERIA
Last month, members of gangs that occasionally carry out armed attacks in Plateau killed approximately 40 people in similar assaults in the state.
Nigeria has long been subjected to attacks from armed gangs, as well as terrorist organizations such as Boko Haram and ISWAP, the West African branch of ISIS, in various parts of the country.
