In an operation targeting suspects identified to have engaged in and facilitated prostitution in private rooms of hotel massage and spa salons in Ankara, 10 people were detained.

The Ankara Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Investigation Bureau for Crimes Against Family Protection and Sexual Inviolability, launched an investigation to apprehend individuals engaged in prostitution and procuring in the city.

THEY MADE APPOINTMENTS USING CODED LANGUAGE

In this context, teams from the Ankara Police Department's Public Order Branch, Vice Bureau, conducted operations and identified prostitution being carried out under the names "massage", "special therapy", and "SPA" in certain establishments. The teams also determined that the suspects advertised online and arranged appointments by speaking in "coded" language on the phone.

10 PEOPLE DETAINED, WORKPLACE SEALED

In a simultaneous operation at different addresses, 10 suspects were taken into custody. Administrative fines were imposed on the establishments, and the workplaces were sealed.
