In Amasya, 11 years after a mother and son died from stove poisoning in a house, this time a father and his other child met the same fate. The gas leaking from the stove extinguished a family's hearth.
The Zeren family, who lost their mother and son due to stove poisoning 11 years ago in Amasya, experienced their second great tragedy this time with the father and another child losing their lives in the same way.
SAME TRAGEDY 11 YEARS LATER Mehmet Ali Zeren (64) and his son Alper Zeren (39), who lived in a detached house on Kafkas Street in Kurşunlu Neighborhood, lost their lives due to gas leaking from the stove. In the same house, 11 years ago, Yasemin Zeren (50) and her son Anıl Ali Zeren (14) also lost their lives in a similar manner.
Yasemin Zeren and her son Anıl Ali Zeren RELATIVES FOUND THEM UNRESPONSIVE Relatives who could not reach the father and son found the two individuals unresponsive on the floor in the house they entered with police teams. Health teams dispatched to the scene determined that the father and son had been poisoned by gas leaking from the stove.

STATEMENT FROM THE MUHTAR Kurşunlu Neighborhood Muhtar Muhammed Aca said, “There was also stove poisoning in the same house 11 years ago. The mother and son lost their lives. Now the father and the other son have experienced the same fate.”
INVESTIGATION INITIATED Amasya Police Chief Ayhan Saraç also came to the scene and conducted investigations. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
