On the 10th anniversary of FETÖ's treacherous coup attempt, a July 15 Commemoration Ceremony was held under the roof of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the symbol of national will. Speaking at the ceremony, President Erdoğan issued a critical warning, stating, "We showed on July 15 that we will not bow to servitude. The FETÖ threat still continues; FETÖ members are biding their time. Such an insidious struggle, which drinks lies like water and constantly changes color like a chameleon, does not allow for complacency and can never tolerate slackening."
Ten years have passed since the coup attempt carried out by members of the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ) on July 15, 2016. A commemoration program is being held at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) on July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
MEVLID-I SHARIF RECITED FOR MARTYRS AND VETERANS
The program held under the roof of the TBMM started at 12:30 with the recitation of Mevlid-i Sharif at the TBMM Mosque for the martyrs and deceased veterans. Afterwards, carnations were laid at the TBMM July 15 Martyrs' Monument and the Main Building Honor Hall Memorial Stone.
Additionally, the opening of the July 15 National Will Victory Digital Display Exhibition at the TBMM Honor Hall, the Ministry of Family and Social Services' Art Encouragement and Life with Art Exhibition for the 10th Anniversary of July 15, and the Press Advertising Agency's July 15 Headlines Journalism Workshop Exhibition were held.
PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN AT THE PODIUM
President Erdoğan came to the TBMM to attend the July 15 Commemoration Ceremony in the Assembly Ceremony Hall. Erdoğan was welcomed with a ceremony by TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş. After greeting the honor guard, President Erdoğan proceeded to the hall where the July 15 Commemoration Ceremony was to be held. Following Kurtulmuş's opening speech, Erdoğan is addressing the participants.

"Dear Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, esteemed leaders of our political parties, honorable members of parliament, distinguished guests, I greet you with my most heartfelt feelings, respect, and affection. I am delighted to be with you under the roof of our Grand National Assembly on the 10th anniversary of the July 15 epic. As politicians carrying the sacred trust of the nation, we are one and together today, just as we were 10 years ago. Together, we are one heart and one fist. First and foremost, on the 10th anniversary of the treacherous July 15 coup attempt, I commemorate with mercy and gratitude our 253 heroes who drank the sherbet of martyrdom while defending the homeland, the flag, the call to prayer, and the national will. I wish health, well-being, and a blessed life from Almighty Allah to our veterans who shielded the coup plotters' death-spewing weapons with their chests. On this important anniversary, where we proudly salute the July 15 epic, I thank all my citizens who have honored the blessed souls of our heroic martyrs with recitations of the Holy Quran, prayers, and supplications. I say, may Allah grant all martyrs paradise, God willing."

We will always remember with gratitude the brave ones who, for the sake of our nation's independence, our state's survival, and our democracy's future, bent their heads but never bowed, and we will always recall their epic struggle with pride. With the same heartfelt sentiments, as representatives of the nation, I congratulate each of you individually for not letting the nation's trust fall to the ground in the face of the coup plotters' attacks. I express my gratitude on behalf of my country and nation."
