In Bakırköy, Istanbul, a light commercial vehicle struck 4 pedestrians trying to cross the road. While 18-year-old Ayşe Vatansever, one of the pedestrians thrown several meters, lost her life in the hospital where she was taken, it was learned that the other 3 people remain in life-threatening condition. The traffic accident that occurred in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul resulted in the death of 18-year-old Ayşe Vatansever. In the accident that took place on Yeşilköy Halkalı Street at around 18:30, a light commercial vehicle in motion hit pedestrians trying to cross the road.
4 PEDESTRIANS WERE THROWN METERS AWAY
According to the information obtained, 4 people hit by the light commercial vehicle with license plate 26 AIF 431 were injured after being thrown meters away by the force of the impact. Following reports from those who saw the accident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. After the first intervention of medical personnel at the scene, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances.
18-YEAR-OLD AYŞE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Ayşe Vatansever, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition, lost her life despite doctors' intervention. It was learned that the health conditions of the other 3 people injured in the accident remain serious and that they are still in life-threatening danger.
HER BODY WAS HANDED OVER TO HER RELATIVES
The body of 18-year-old Ayşe Vatansever, who lost her life, was received by her relatives from the Forensic Medicine Institute. It was stated that the young girl would be buried after the funeral prayer to be held in Zeytinburnu.
