After Victor Osimhen's injury at Galatasaray, attention has turned to Okan Buruk's choice in the attacking line. Deniz Gül is expected to start in the first XI in the match against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler in place of the Nigerian star, who will be away from the pitch for about 3 weeks.
Galatasaray, sitting at the top of the Süper Lig standings, are preparing for their 11th-week match against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler with a significant absentee. Victor Osimhen, who was injured in the UEFA Champions League match against Stuttgart, will undergo surgery, prompting head coach Okan Buruk to make a change in the attacking line. The name expected to take the field in the absence of the star striker for the yellow-reds has been announced.
OSIMHEN WILL BE SIDELINED FOR 3 WEEKS
Victor Osimhen, who suffered an injury in the Champions League match where Galatasaray defeated Stuttgart 2-0, was found to have a problem in his left knee. Following examinations, it was decided that the Nigerian footballer would undergo surgery. The star striker, who will be unable to play for about 3 weeks, will be absent from the Amed Sportif Faaliyetler match.
OKAN BURUK'S PREFERENCE: DENİZ GÜL
After Osimhen's injury, the name Deniz Gül came to the fore for the center-forward position at Galatasaray. Head coach Okan Buruk is expected to give the young footballer a chance in the starting eleven against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler in place of the Nigerian star. Thus, there will be a significant change in the yellow-reds' attacking line.
EYES TURNED TO THE AMEDSPOR MATCH
Galatasaray, aiming to maintain their top spot in the league, will seek a victory against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler in Osimhen's absence. While it remains to be seen how Okan Buruk's choice in the attacking line will turn out, Deniz Gül's performance will also be one of the notable topics of the match.
