REMAND DECISION FOR 19 PEOPLE
The judicial procedures of the suspects detained in the Ankara-based operation targeting the community publicly known as "Süleymancılar" have been completed. Of the 24 people referred to the courthouse after questioning at the police station, 19 were remanded in custody by the court they were brought before and sent to prison. Five of the suspects were released subject to judicial control measures.
STATEMENT FROM THE CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
In a written statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was said: "Under the coordination of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; within the scope of the work carried out by the Financial Crimes Combat Branch Directorate of the Ankara Provincial Police Department; within the scope of the activities of the Alihan Kuriş profit-oriented criminal organization, 24 of the 38 suspects detained in the operation carried out on 19.10.2026 were brought before our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in custody, and it was decided to remand in custody 19 of the 24 suspects referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace, and to apply judicial control measures to 5 of them."
