The Iran-US-Israel war continues on its 20th day. Iran's oil and natural gas refineries have been targeted by the US and Israel. In response, Tehran struck a series of energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. The Ras Laffan Industrial Area in Qatar suffered significant damage in these attacks.
As the war in the Middle East continues unabated, the attacks by the US and Israel on critical energy infrastructure in Iran have further escalated tensions in the region. The Tehran administration responded quickly to the attacks.
IRAN'S LARGEST NATURAL GAS FACILITY HIT
US and Israeli forces targeted oil refineries and South Pars natural gas facilities in the city of Asaluyeh, located in Iran's Bushehr province. The third, fourth, fifth, and sixth refineries in Asaluyeh were hit in the attacks. Fires broke out at the targeted facilities.
In the attacks on the South Pars natural gas field, it was reported that the third and sixth phases of the field were targeted. Iranian officials announced that the fire in the region had been brought under control.
IRAN STRIKES ENERGY FACILITIES IN 3 COUNTRIES AS RETALIATION
Following the developments, Tehran targeted a series of energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
Qatar's national energy company announced that the Ras Laffan Industrial Area was hit by ballistic missiles, causing significant damage and resulting in a fire in the affected area. It was reported that the fire was extinguished following the intervention of civil defense teams.
The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, condemned Iran's attacks, stating that the assaults posed a direct threat to Qatar's national security.
SAUDI ARABIA: IRAN IS MAKING A MISTAKE
One of the targets of Iran's retaliatory attacks was the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that Riyadh was targeted by 4 ballistic missiles. It was stated that all of the missiles were intercepted by air defense systems. However, it was noted that shrapnel from the destroyed missiles hit various areas of the capital.
A fire broke out in one of those areas, with flames seen rising several meters high. Officials announced that there were injuries.
Saudi Foreign Minister Al Saud stated, "If Iran thinks that the Gulf countries will not be able to respond, it is making a mistake."
Minister Saud said that Iran approaches its neighbors with a hostile perspective rather than in a spirit of brotherhood.
UAE: MISSILES INTERCEPTED SUCCESSFULLY
The United Arab Emirates was also targeted by missile attacks. The UAE Ministry of Defense stated that air defense systems intervened against missile and drone attacks coming from Iran.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced that "the missiles targeting the Habshan Natural Gas Facility and Bab Oil Field were successfully intercepted."
In the statement, it was mentioned that "incidents related to falling shrapnel were addressed," and it was noted that operations at the Habshan natural gas facilities were halted.
It was reported that there were no injuries in the incidents.
TRUMP: THE US WAS NOT AWARE OF ISRAEL'S ATTACK
Speaking about Israel's attacks on Iranian facilities, US President Donald Trump stated that the US was not aware of the attacks.
Trump emphasized that Qatar had no involvement in the attack, stating, "If Iran decides to attack Qatar, the US will obliterate the entire South Pars Natural Gas field. I do not want to endorse violence and destruction on this scale. However, if Qatar's LNG facilities are attacked again, I will not hesitate to do so."
Trump stated that no further attacks would be carried out on the South Pars gas field by Israel.
ISRAEL HIT BY BALLISTIC MISSILE
As Iran responds to Israel's attacks with retaliatory strikes, the toll of the war is becoming heavier for Israel.
According to a statement from the Magen David Adom ambulance service, Iran launched a ballistic missile attack on the Moshav Adanim area in central Israel. A foreign worker in his 30s, who was severely injured by shrapnel that hit his body, was reported to have died despite all interventions.
Israeli media reported that many areas in the center of the country were targeted by Iranian attacks using fragmentary munitions, and it was noted that the latest casualty may have occurred as a result of these attacks.
AT LEAST 15 PEOPLE HAVE DIED
In the retaliatory attacks that Iran launched against Israel following the attacks that began on February 28, at least 15 people have died, and 3,727 people have been injured.
IRAN'S INTELLIGENCE CHIEF HAS DIED
Israel announced that Iranian Intelligence Minister Ismail Hatib was targeted in an airstrike. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that Hatib was "neutralized" in an attack carried out at night. Katz also revealed that he and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had authorized the military to "kill" other senior Iranian officials targeted without needing additional approval.
IRANIAN PRESIDENT CONFIRMED
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed Hatib's death. In the message, it was stated, "The cowardly assassination of Ismail Hatib, Ali Larijani, and Aziz Nasirzadeh, along with their family members and accompanying personnel, has deeply saddened us."
SENIOR FIGURES ARE BEING TARGETED
Israeli intelligence identified that Larijani was in a bunker with other officials around the capital and launched a missile attack.
That night, the leader of the Basij forces, Gholam Reza Soleimani, was also targeted and killed based on the intelligence received.

CASUALTIES ARE INCREASING
As tensions continue to rise in the region, it is reported that Israel and the U.S. have been conducting joint attacks against Iran since February 28, resulting in the deaths of approximately 1,300 people, including the then-religious leader Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran has carried out missile and drone attacks against Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets, as well as Israel.
