Following the images of smoking on an intercity passenger bus that sparked great reaction on social media, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure took action. After conducting inspections, the ministry identified the bus company that violated the rules and imposed an administrative fine of 21,333 lira on the company.
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, which launched an investigation following images shared on social media showing smoking on an intercity passenger bus, announced that the relevant company was fined 21,333 lira.
In a post on the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's social media account, it was stated that the General Directorate of Transport Services Regulation conducted the necessary review and inspection process regarding the images reflected in the public.
In the statement, it was reported that the company featured in the images was identified as a result of the investigations, and an administrative fine of 21,333 lira was imposed on the said company.
