In an operation carried out on a house and 2 vehicles in Istanbul’s Şişli district, 213 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized. It was determined that 51 kilograms of the drug were in crystallized form and 162 kilograms were in liquid form. Iranian national H.H. and Iraqi national A.J.Q., who were detained in the operation, were referred to the courthouse after police procedures on charges of “manufacturing and trafficking narcotics or stimulants.”
A large amount of drugs was seized in an operation carried out by narcotics teams in Şişli. Two foreign-national suspects who were taken into custody were referred to the courthouse.
OPERATION ON A HOUSE AND 2 VEHICLES
Under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Smuggling and Narcotic Crimes Investigation Bureau, teams from the Istanbul Narcotic Crimes Combating Branch Directorate conducted an operation on a house and 2 vehicles in Şişli on October 12.
51 KILOS CRYSTALLIZED, 162 KILOS LIQUID
During the searches, a total of 213 kilograms of methamphetamine was seized, 51 kilograms of which was in crystallized form and 162 kilograms in liquid form. In the operation, Iranian national H.H. and Iraqi national A.J.Q. were detained.
SUSPECTS REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE
The suspects, whose statement procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse on charges of “manufacturing and trafficking drugs or stimulants.”
