In Bodrum, a district of Muğla, which is one of Turkey's important tourism centers, there is a high volume of visitors due to the Ramadan Feast. It is expected that nearly 100,000 guests will arrive in the district during the holiday, with 25,000 vehicles entering in a single day.

Visitors coming to Muğla to spend the holiday continue to enliven the tourist districts. Those who want to spend the holiday in Bodrum district occasionally caused congestion in road traffic.

Bodrum District Governor Ali Sırmalı conducted inspections at the Torba application point at the entrance of the district. After chatting with gendarmerie and police teams for a while, Sırmalı congratulated the drivers who were stopped. The police teams also distributed informative brochures to the drivers and passengers. Sırmalı stated that they took measures with all institutions to ensure that guests spend the holiday in peace and security in the district, and expressed that the security forces and the municipality are ready for the holiday duty with many teams.

"We expect nearly 100 thousand guests in Bodrum during the holiday period. Currently, 294 of our hotels are open, with nearly half of the occupancy capacity. Today, we celebrated the holiday of our citizens traveling at the application point and carried out inspections. Throughout the holiday period, our police, gendarmerie, and coast guard will have 664 personnel and 157 teams on duty."
