It was determined that Nesim B., who went missing in Ağrı in 2013, was killed in a premeditated manner. Following a re-examination of the case, 3 out of 5 suspects taken into custody were arrested.
The file regarding Nesim B., who was reported missing in the Eleşkirt district of Ağrı on October 30, 2013, and from whom no further news was received, was recently re-examined. In the studies conducted, 33 different camera records from 2013, approximately 220 hours of KGYS footage, HTS and base station records, and data on vehicle movements were re-analyzed. Additionally, comprehensive field studies were carried out in the city center, districts, and villages.
5 PEOPLE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
As a result of the investigations, important findings were obtained indicating that the incident was pre-planned, that Nesim B. was brought to the Ağrı city center and killed, and that the suspects considered to be connected to the incident played roles in different stages of the murder. Within the scope of the ongoing work, S.K., M.K.Y., S.K.Y., H.K., and D.B. were captured and taken into custody in operations conducted on June 22 in Ağrı, İzmir, Manisa, and Konya.
3 PEOPLE ARRESTED
Following their procedures at the police station, suspect D.B. was released, while the others were referred to the courthouse. Among the suspects brought before the court, S.K. and M.K.Y. were arrested for the crime of 'intentional killing', while H.K. was released under judicial control.
It was also determined that suspect S.K. had a finalized prison sentence for various crimes. After the completion of his judicial procedures, S.K. was also handed over to the penal institution.

The Ağrı Police Department made a post about the issue on their social media accounts. The statement, which reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing from multiple angles, included the following expressions:
Under the coordination of the Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, by our Public Order Branch Directorate Homicide Bureau; regarding the incident for which a missing person report was filed in 2013 and an investigation was initiated in 2016 under the crime of 'Intentional Killing', a simultaneous operation was conducted on June 22, 2026, based in our province and also in the provinces of Ankara, İzmir, Konya, and Manisa, and 5 suspects were captured and taken into custody. Among the suspects taken into custody, a person named H.K. was released under judicial control, while individuals named S.K. and M.K.Y. were arrested under the crime of 'Intentional Killing'. Additionally, it was determined that the person named S.K. also had a finalized prison sentence for various crimes, and after the completion of his judicial procedures, he was handed over to the penal institution."
