Following the agreement between the US and Iran, the escalating tension in the Strait of Hormuz has once again turned into a hot conflict. After a drone attack on a cargo ship in the strait, mutual retaliations accelerated, and the US struck Iranian territory once more. The US military announced that the attacks targeted Iran's military surveillance infrastructure, air defense positions, communication systems, drone facilities, and mine-laying capabilities.
According to Iran's state television news, explosion sounds were heard from the Tahiruyi village in Sirik city, located in Hormozgan province.
Based on information from a military source, state television reported that the explosion sounds were caused by an attack on a communication tower in Sirik's Tahiruyi village near the Strait of Hormuz.
Meanwhile, a reporter from the US-based Axios news site, citing an American official, reported that the US military has carried out attacks in Iran's Strait of Hormuz region.
