As complaints increased, dozens of people applied to Orhaneli State Hospital with suspected food poisoning.

The Bursa Provincial Health Directorate announced the latest situation regarding applications to health institutions after the incident. According to the information provided by the Directorate, a total of 367 people who fell ill after the circumcision ceremony applied to Orhaneli State Hospital and various health institutions throughout the night. Due to the intense number of applications, some patients were referred to hospitals in central Bursa.
74 PATIENTS REFERRED BY AMBULANCE
Of those who applied to Orhaneli State Hospital, 74 were transported by ambulance to hospitals in central Bursa. It was reported that most of the patients taken under treatment were discharged after their health conditions improved. The Bursa Provincial Health Directorate announced that 23 patients are still receiving treatment and that their general health conditions are good. Thus, it was stated that the treatment of most of the hundreds of people who fell ill after the circumcision ceremony has been completed.
SAMPLES TAKEN FROM CHICKEN PILAF
After hundreds of people fell ill, an investigation was launched to determine the cause of the incident. Officials reported that food samples were taken in coordination with the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. Teams from the Orhaneli District Health Directorate also took water samples as part of the examinations. The samples are expected to help determine the source of the incident as a result of the analyses to be conducted.
