The incident occurred during the noon hours in the Şıh Maksut neighborhood of the central Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa. According to information obtained, relatives of 41-year-old Emine Kurt, who were unable to reach her by phone and suspected something was wrong, came to her ground-floor apartment. After knocking on the door and getting no response, the worried family members looked inside through the window. Seeing Kurt motionless on the iron window bars, they immediately notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.
