The incident occurred at a facility on the banks of the Köprüçay River in the Beşkonak Köprülü Canyon National Park in the Manavgat district. According to the information obtained, a group of domestic tourists who came from Konya yesterday morning on a day trip to Manavgat for rafting went rafting at a facility. After completing the rafting tour, 52 of the citizens who ate at the same facility allegedly began to show symptoms of poisoning.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT
The citizens were taken to Manavgat State Hospital on their tour vehicles and given initial treatment. Hospital officials stated that the citizens' health conditions are good and they will be discharged after treatment. An investigation into the incident has been launched by the Manavgat District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. - ANTALYA
