6 unmanned aerial vehicles detected near the US Consulate in Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, were neutralized by air defense systems. The moment was captured on camera.
Six UAVs were detected near the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).
AIR DEFENSE SYSTEMS ACTIVATED
Security sources stated that air defense systems deployed near the consulate were activated and the UAVs approaching the area were neutralized. It was reported that debris from the destroyed UAVs fell near the scene, and a taxi was damaged by shrapnel fragments.
NO CASUALTIES
It was noted that there were no casualties or injuries in the incident. Security forces have launched an investigation into the matter.
