In Seoul, the capital of South Korea, three people lost their lives and three others were injured when a partially demolished overpass collapsed around 2:30 PM local time.

The accident reportedly occurred during a safety inspection after workers noticed a slight collapse of a section of the structure while cutting concrete slabs and halted demolition work. Authorities stated that some train services in the city were suspended after parts of the overpass fell onto a nearby railway line.
