It was reported that 27 individuals sought with a red notice and 38 wanted at the national level by the Ministry of Interior have been captured and brought to Türkiye. In the statement, which also specified the countries the suspects fled to, it was revealed that most of them preferred Georgia.
It was reported that 27 individuals sought via Interpol Red Notice and 38 wanted at the national level were captured and brought to Turkey by the Ministry of Interior.
In a post on the Ministry of Interior's social media account, it was stated that 65 suspects sought internationally via Red Notice were apprehended.
ALL 65 WERE BROUGHT TO TURKEY
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was noted that the suspects M.Y., İ.A., T.F., Ü.C., E.B., Ö.G., B.G., Ö.H., A.K., M.E., T.A., H.U., H.Y., M.Y., E.Ç., Ö.M.F., İ.H.K., H.K., M.Y., M.H.Ö., B.G., H.D., T.B., M.Y., İ.K., B.V., and M.K., along with those wanted at the national level N.K., M.A., H.Ö., A.A., Y.Ç., D.Ç., M.Ç., M.A.C., B.U., E.B., T.Ş., N.T., O.E., S.D., E.Ç., B.V., A.A., K.H., İ.C., H.E., T.T., S.A., M.Ç., E.K., U.Ş., U.K., F.Ö., B.Ç., Ü.D., Y.Ü., M.G., B.A., M.Ö., S.Ç., H.K., M.D., S.O., and Ö.A. were brought to Turkey.
MAJORITY PREFERRED ONE COUNTRY
It was reported that 51 of the wanted individuals were captured in Georgia, 7 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, 1 in Austria, 1 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1 in Ukraine, 1 in Greece, and 1 in North Macedonia, and were brought back to Turkey.
THE MINISTRY ANNOUNCED IT THIS WAY
The Ministry's post included the following statements:
"The EGM Interpol-Europol Department, officials from the Ministry of Justice, the KOM, Intelligence and Narcotics Crime Fighting Departments, as well as the Cyber, Public Order, and TEM Departments meticulously tracked the traces of individuals who fled abroad and were subject to arrest warrants. Through joint cooperation with law enforcement units of relevant countries, the extradition of the captured individuals to our country was ensured. We continue to capture and bring back to our country members of organized crime groups and poison dealers whom we are seeking via Red Notice and at the national level. We congratulate our heroic police officers, our Departments, our Department Heads, and all those who contributed. We thank the officials of the Ministry of Justice."
