In the CHP, at the MYK meeting chaired by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the General Chairmanship role following the court's 'absolute nullity' decision, new appointments were made to 15 of the 22 previously dissolved provincial presidencies. While previously dismissed Izmir Provincial Chairman Çağatay Güç and the provincial chairmen of Giresun and Trabzon were referred to the disciplinary board with a request for definitive expulsion; the provincial and central district administrations of Afyonkarahisar, Giresun, Trabzon, Yozgat, Burdur, Aydın, and Tekirdağ were removed from office.
The Central Executive Board (MYK) of the CHP met at the headquarters under the leadership of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to his position as CHP Chairman following the 'absolute nullity' decision from the court.
The meeting, which began with Kılıçdaroğlu's opening speech, addressed the NATO Summit, economic and political developments, work on the congress calendar announced to start in September, and revisions regarding party organizations.
7 PROVINCIAL CHAIRS DISMISSED
After the meeting concluded, Party Spokesperson Müslim Sarı spoke in front of the cameras, announcing that some provincial chairs had been dismissed and appointments had been made in their place.
Sarı stated that by the MYK decision, the provincial and central district administrations of Afyonkarahisar, Giresun, Trabzon and Ortahisar district, Yozgat, Burdur, Aydın, and Tekirdağ were dismissed, and he reported that they had been previously removed from duty.

He also reported that dismissed İzmir Provincial Chair Çağatay Güç, along with the current Giresun and Trabzon provincial chairs, were referred to the disciplinary committee with a request for definitive expulsion.
