BULLET HITS CHILD SLEEPING ON ROOF
The incident occurred in the Karadal hamlet of Ulutaş neighborhood in Mazıdağı district. The 12-year-old girl, who had come from the Kızıltepe district with her family to visit relatives, was shot while sleeping on the roof of the house in the morning hours.
The bullet, fired from a gun whose shooter has not yet been identified, hit the young girl's body.
TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL
Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured child, who received initial treatment at Mazıdağı State Hospital, was later transferred to Mardin Training and Research Hospital for further examination and treatment.
